About me

Hi, Iโ€™m Manuel (Manny) Torres.

I was born in Mexico, and moving to Canada has been one of the biggest challenges in my life. It has not always been easy, but it has helped me grow a lot, both personally and professionally. I worked hard to get my open work permit, and Iโ€™m very motivated to keep moving forward and give my best.

I have many years of experience in IT, but more than that, I believe in being a responsible person, someone people can trust and work with. I like helping others, solving problems, and doing things the right way.

My family is the most important thing in my life. They are my pillars and my motivation every day. Everything I do is also for them, and they are the reason I keep pushing myself to improve.

Outside of work, I enjoy mountain biking and traveling. I like being outdoors, exploring new places, and taking time to enjoy life.

I also volunteer with the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA, where I help in different areas and support the team. Itโ€™s something I really enjoy because I can give back to the community.

Iโ€™m based in Ontario, Canada, and Iโ€™m open to new opportunities.

I like to keep things simple and clear.

When I work on something, I first try to understand the problem and what the team really needs. I listen, ask questions, and make sure I have the full picture before taking action.

I focus on finding practical solutions that actually work in real life, not just on paper. I believe in doing things the right way, but also in keeping them efficient and easy to use.

I take responsibility for my work, and I always try to follow through until the problem is solved.

I also believe that communication is key. I like to keep people informed, work as a team, and make sure everyone is on the same page.

My goal is always to help things run smoother and make life easier for the people I work with.
